Searching for Sloan…
If you’re digging into the back-catalogue of Quincy, M.E., here’s a fun nugget: Michael Sloan wrote two episodes in 1977 — “Snake Eyes” (co-written with Joel Oliansky, story by Lou Shaw) and “Visitors in Paradise”.
Then, in the 1980 episode “No Way to Treat a Patient”, you’ll spot a character named Dr. Mike Sloan (played by Duncan Gamble) — though quirky enough, that episode was not written by Sloan, but by Robert A. Cinader.
Just one of those little TV-history overlaps that keep fandom fun.
